Gradac E-mail
Gradac is about 44 kilometers from Makarska, and about 13 kilometers away from Ploce. The place is mentioned in the 10th century for the first time, under the name Labinec (Lapcani). Its name derives from the fort that was built in the 17th century, as the defence against The Turks, and there are the ruins of this fort as a heritage of that time. Gradac has around 1,200 inhabitants, mostly living from tourism, fishing and growing olives. The first hotel in Gradac was built in 1919. In Gradac you shall find everything that you need for your ideal vacation, from the accomodation in the hotel or private apartments and rooms, to various sport facilities and rich gastro offer. Untouched nature, beautiful beaches and pure sea are certainly the biggest trump cards of this place.  We recommend you to visit other places on the Riviera of Makarska – Makarska, Bratus, Baska Voda, Brela, Drvenik, Brist, Drasnice, Igrane, Podaca, Podgora, Tucepi, Zaostrog and Zivogosce .
