Brela is about 16 kilometers from Makarska towards Split. In this pearl of the Adriatic coast there are around 1,500 inhabitants, mostly living from tourism, growing fruit and viticulture. Brela got its name after «vrela» - wells that can be found in this area. From the cultural – historic heritage we shall mention the ruins of the Herzegovinian fortress and the church St lady from Karmel, built in 1730. As a true tourist spot, Brela offers you the accomodation in luxurious hotels, villas, private apartments and rooms. Guests have many sport courts on their disposal – football, basketball, tennis, handball, water sports.
